In this fun and informative workshop you'll learn that healthy eating is not complicated and can fit a busy lifestyle. This workshop will teach you how to nurture your body through proper nutrition regardless of current diet habits (vegetarian or omnivore, carboholic, low fat, etc) and conditions (diabetes, celiac, etc), gender or age. You'll learn that the body is amazing and works well when you feed it well.
Topics that will be covered include:
o Calories: Sorting through the numbers game
o Macronutrients: How much or how little carbohydrates, protein and fat does the body need and getting rid of the no-carb mentality
o Fibre: How to unclog your plumbing and keep it unclogged
o Supplements: The A, B, Cs for optimal health
A detailed handout will be provided and there will be opportunities to ask questions.
