May's News

Welcome warm weather! One more weekend and we're into the start of the summer season with the Victoria Day long weekend! What are you doing to stay active?

The importance of having qualified instructors...we always post updated bios of our instructors and wonderful Registered Yoga Teachers as we are founded on the principle that fitness, in whatever form it takes, should be delivered by qualified professionals. We believe in being open and transparent about our qualifications and promoting ongoing education. A qualified and current instructor will lead you safely and provide alternative formats to various exercises or in yoga, poses. More importantly, they are able to recognize when an exercise may not be ideal for you and help prevent injuries.

Obesity in the U.S (and Canada!!)  we're been posting on our Facebook page about the upcoming 4 part series Weight of the Nation. Although it is from a U.S perspective, the statistics for Canada are equally as dramatic. http://theweightofthenation.hbo.com/
